Another Smoke Pellet Question: Duration?
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, February 5, 2006 4:21 PM
Just got my 2020 back from restoration: A few brushes, some cosmetics and new smoke unit (pellet-type). All works gloriously... (It's a dream to have a 60 year old toy look and run so well!)

My question is regarding the duration of smoke you folks get from a single pellet... I'm usint the Toy Trains Unlimited pellets - they smoke very nicely, but for a seemingly very short duration... (Especially in comparison to 4 drops of smoke fluid in my K-line Pacific)

How long should I expect a single pellet to last?

Hello fccchambers! Most pellets do not last too long maybe 5-10 minutes depending on how hot the heater element gets. So, its nothing to worry about. Enjoy your 2020.(I wonder if John Stossel has a 2020?[:)])
