Smoking Post War Lionel Locomotives

My post war Lionel locomotives all have the wire heater type smoke generator that require smoke pills. Do they still make smoke pills for these locomotives? Or is there a better product now that I can use to make em smoke? Thank you[8D]

you can get "modern" smoke pellets that should work fine. I still have several bottles of original smoke pellets which work great.

You can also add about 4 drops of smoke fluid down the stack to make them smoke. That's what I do.
