missing campbell instructions
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, January 27, 2006 10:34 AM
I have aquired a tall curved trestle kit by campbell scale models #200-304. The kit seems to have all the pieces but there were no instructions. Does anyone know where i might be able to get a set of instructions.

Thanks,
Vern

Oh, bummer! I see in an Internet search that Campbell has ceased operations. Too bad, they made great kits. I had several on my former HO scale layout, and you betcha you don't want to try to assemble one without instructions. If you haven't already done so, you might have better results by posting this query on the Model Railroader forum. Best of luck in finding instructions for your kit.

Could you provide a link to your information? My Google check reveals Campbell Scale Models has no web site (mail address but no web site on NMRA manufacturer's list), but is still shipping product (according to Walters and several other dealers). I can't find anything that says they are going out of business.

I have a couple of their kits, and am planning on using more on my HO layout.

There is an announcement in the March '06 Model Railroader that Campbell Scale Models is back up and running after some problems.
