I also noticed a few T-Redroductions on E-Bay and they seem to command high prices.

I wonder if this company used a name other than Lionel City on the stations building could it still have been threatended with a lawsuit. I say this as Williams uses the name Luxary Lines, as opposed to Lionel Lines.

As for the 113 station that I found, I am going to use it in place of an American Flyer Union Station that is currently on my layout.

Hello Krapug! T-Reproductions used to make repros of the old Prewar Lionel Stations like the 113,115,etc Until Richard Kughn took them to court in 1987 & they ceased production & reproduced the Buddy "L" Outdoor Railroad Train and they also reproduced some Dorfan Standard Gauge until about 2 years ago and have been out of business since. They were run by Norman Thomas and was based in Johnson City,Tennesee. Hope this helps.

"T-Art" Reproductions
Posted by krapug1 on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 5:58 PM

While in the process of cleaning out our parents house, we found a mint reproduction of the classic Lionel City station from the prewar years.

This is the longer version of the station, in tan with green trim.

The company that made it also reproduced a number of Lionel Structures from the prewar era including the Power Plant, and the regular size Lionel City station. This particular station was bought in 1987.

What was this company, and what happended to them??

Thanks

Ken

PS Just some trivia, for those who do not know, the Lionel City station was based on the Asbury Park, NJ station along the New York, and Long Branch Railroad. The real station was demolished in the late 80's, and replaced by a
new municipal complex, and eventually a new, modern train/bus station.
