I have the reading that I use in lashup with the H9. The detail is a lot less than the premier; however, it is my first proto2 and it runs well and all functions still works after 2 years (proto2). I purchased 17 other MTH engines after that one and my experience with it and DCS. If I had to do it over again I would just get the premier rather than the railking.

I have one that I also got off Ebay a while back. I think I paid about what you paid - a great engine for the price. Only wish it was PS2 instead of PS1.

I have a PS2 railking 0-8-0. It's one of my favorites[:)]. Love the "hooter" whistle[:)]. Detail is pretty good for a railking loco.

I've got a whistle-only (Pre Proto 2 or LocoSound) New York Central. Very nice locomotive.
