Does anyone know if there is a dummy car and maybe an extention pack that would would with this train? I've been out of the train world for a long time, but just recently pulled out my old trains from my parent's house, so I'm getting the bug again!

There is a dummy B unit available for $80.00. I passed. No extension pack offered. I was disappointed by that. I would have bought a 3-car set (containing at least 1 vista dome), but none were offered. The exact same type cars are offered as either a 4-pack (1 observation included) or a 2 pack, but they aren't Santa Fe. They have California Zephyr on the sides. None of them is due out until September.

My El Capitan's locomotive has a reversing problem. It won't cycle propery. It also jack-rabbits on start up. Doesn't pull away smoothly and slowly. I contacted Davis Trains in Cincinnati and they told me it's a common problem with the El Capitan sets. A new reverse board is the required fix.

Thanks for the info. Just when I think I found something to buy.. Oh well... I'm still going after the Sante Fe Southwest diesel freight and extention pack from the new catalog.
