What's the diff. between 022 and 1121 switch?

The 022 is O-31, the 1121 is O-27. The O22 also has the non-derailing feature. The 1121 doesn't but can be made non-derailing by using insulated track sections.

What's the difference between a postwar 022 and 1121 switch? Are they the same or different radius, What type of curve will this fit. Thanks in advance for any help!
