The 14th annual Fairhope model train show will be held in Fairhope, Alabama, March 18 - 19 during the three-day Annual Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival, one of the top tourist events in the state. Fairhope is on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay south of I-10.

Dealers may be off a little this year since several along the coast lost a lot of their trains, but we do anticipate having a good selection of both old and new O-gauge trains for sale plus layouts from N to G (probably two O-gauge layouts). There will be dealers in all scales.

The show is sponsored by South West Alabama Railroad Modelers, a Mobile-area club for all gauges. Bay Area Rail Roaders will have their new modular layout there as well. For more information on these clubs see LCCA's The Lion Roars, December 2005.

Admission is $2.00 with accompanying children free. Contacts are myself or Herb Kern, (251) 660-1659 or dxlndkern@aol.com. The show is held in the Kindergarten-First Grade Center, 100 South Church Street in downtown Fairhope adjacent to the Arts & Crafts Festival.[:)]

Hope to see you here.
