I am new to the hobby and was wondering how good the Lionmaster Challenger is and where is a good place to get one? My local hobby shops are out of stock. Any help would be great, thanks

Check out Train Express. [tup] They had a few the last time I looked and they were going for $510.

Train Express is sold out , I was in there on Thursday and they are all gone.
The best I saw was an ad in CTT for I think 575.00.

I have one I will be selling on eBay in the near future. It has been test run only. It is item no. 38023 which is the two tone gray version. It has TMCC & RailSounds. My eBay ID is bobblaisdell.

usbw1,

I have this loco. It is a great little engine. Runs well and has excellent Railsounds. Looks very good with traditional size (PW) Lionel rolling stock. You will be pleased with this one. Tracks well on 031 track and switches (even backing up through an S-curve) and looks great on 054 or 072.

I highly recommend it. Try Gryzboski's.

Roy
