Lionel......."Super O"........You!!

Every once in a while the opportunity to make a point with someone
(Lionel) about an issue (Super O) of which you are passionate
arrives, like stars being properly aligned. Well, that time may be
now. You can have an impact....maybe. If you don't participate you
WILL NOT have an impact for sure. Here is our opportunity.

There is a pretty active thread about "Super O" which is occasionally
monitored by Lionel on the OGR board which I will link below.

What appears to be needed for "Super O" to gain popularity is, at
minimum:
1) 30" sections of straight
2) 054" & 072" curves
3) "low profile motor cover" 072 electric switches

For Lionel to reissue "the track" there needs to be a ground swell of
activity. We have that opportunity. The way that we can show how we
feel is to post your desire for "Super O" on the OGR board in
whatever fashion makes you comfortable.

Perhaps you prefer to copy and paste. If so here is a paragraph that
may suit your tastes:

Dear Mr. Calabrese:

I am a supporter of Lionel "Super O" track and a member of the
Lionel_SuperO_Track Yahoo Group which has 548 members. For the track
to prosper a reissue would be most timely. In addition to the
standard sections the following would make it a hit:

1) 054" & 072" Curves
2) 072 "low profile motor cover" Electric Switches (to allow passage
of scale cars and large engines)
3) 30" straight sections

Thank you,
