I for one like the whole clock/ catalog on-line deal. I'll still get a hard copy but it sure has taken the whole searching the web for who got it first BS out of it.

Thanks Lionel!

I don't care who the manufacturer is. A new catalog is always something to look forward to! The Hiawatha Loco looks great in the picture. I'll have to wait to see the actual model. Then, the passenger cars had best be drastically improved over the N&W Powhatan Arrow cars Lionel brought out last year. They were nice cars enough, but the window installation was "TRASH" and the space between the cars were ridiculous! I hope Lionel stole er.. I mean recieved some of Kline's expertise in passenger car making in their settlement. (off soap box) Seriously, I'm hoping last years short comings have been corrected.

Perhaps the White House and the CIA should consult with Lionel on how to keep a secret.

"I'm sticking with K-Line!"

Well, in light of their current situation, you'll at least be saving a lot of money!

Hello Clint! Yes, I wi***hey had a Prewar celebration series as well. There are numerous Trains from the prewar era that no one has reproduced yet. The 226E,225E,1688,1689E,289E,249E,1664,1666,& The Tin Litho Freight & Passenger Cars for tthe 1688/89s.And also the #154 Highway Flasher with the Hiawatha Orange Base,Prewar Tin Gateman the # 45 version. So, as one can see there is quite a few items here just waiting to be reproduced. Maybe someday?[:)]

When or if any of those items ever do get reproduced, something tells me they will have MTH plates on them, not Lionel, unfortunately. Maybe if the big "L" gets itself out of its current legal mess... but I'm not going to hold my breath. [V]

Gotta agree with you on that one, Keith. I wi***hat Lionel would offer a PREWAR Celebration Series to go along with all the postwar stuff they've been offering in recent years. I guess that ain't gonna happen, though. [|(]

Clint
