Rough new 022 switches

Wondering if anyone else has observed this. I have two new 022 switches that are connected end to end and locos run really rough through them. My new docksider bumps so much that I have to lock it in forward to get it through and even then it's not a pretty site. MOst postwar goes through but not as smoothly as when they're passing through a postwar switch.
I thought these switches were a match for the postwar 022s. Docksider runs smoother through my old switches than than the new ones. It doesn't make sense to me. Anyone else experience anything like this.

Have not experianced this problem for myself but have heard of it. My personal thoughts are to replace the new Lionel switch and go with the old tried and true original 022 switches that are still for sale at local train meets. Hi,
The new 022 switches are NOT exactly like the old ones. I have had this problem and the only solution I could find, was to put a small piece of
straight track between the switches to break up the roughness.
