Weaver GP38-2

Hello again to this learned crowd. I have a Weaver GP38-2 that I had purchased a little while ago. One of the couplers is missing, and I would also like to know how to do a service on this engine. Before I jump in and hurt it, does anyone know how to disassemble these? Is there a website that has the breakdown and diagrams for these? I have gone to Weaver's site, but they have nothing like lionel's. I love this engine as it runs so well. I look forward to your response and to getting this puppy on the tracks soon.

Ok, some questions first. Is it a twin vertical motor, or an end tower drive unit. Quickest way to tell them apart is the end drive will have a drive shaft rinning from truck to truck, twin motor drive does not have this drive shaft.
There should be screws holding the shell to the chassis, remove these, and you will be in business. I may have a coupler from one of my 2 rail conversions laying about, I'll have to check. Normally, I just chuck 'em, but occasionally, one is missed in my cleaning efforts.

Thanks for getting back to me. It does have the drive shaft, so I guess it is the tower drive unit. I did not want to tackle this until I could know when to say when. I would appreciate the coupler if available. Also, I will be running on O36 Fastrack, so I will need to have a car with extended coupler to make curves. Any suggestions? Thanks for any and all help.
