Their website to say the least is horrible. Never updated, says items are in stock and they never are and they never answer e-mails. I highly suggest that you call Island if you want to order from them.

In response to your questions yes I have had problems with my computer being slow & locking up at www.islandtrains.com

Lock up or time out? You computer shouldn't lock up when visiting a website....I can see a computer slowing down if you have a lot of applications open or programs running...

I went to Island trains and certain sections are PAINFULLY slow to open or time out...

I've never had a problem with visiting that site. I've visited a lot the past couple of weeks.

Several years back I had a problem there. Anytime I went to place an order, it would not let me! I got an "error code" message. Saved me a lot of money, though!

I don't know how their website is working now as I haven't used it in a long time. I have a new computer so I probably COULD order if I wanted...
