Check out Charlse Woods paints at http://www.trainenamel.com/. If you don't see a color you need you can call him for a custom color.

restoring lionel prewar 1922 train - where can i find paint?
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, January 7, 2006 4:10 AM
hi there.

i have a beautiful lionel prewar train but i'm having difficulty matching the paint colour. I want to restore it to it's former "glory" [:)] - i bought it from a garage sale and it had newspaper stuck to the paint (which has in parts cracked the paint off).... does anyone know where i could find the green paint or suitable green for this train (1922 prewar)? I would prefer an online store, as i'm living in Australia....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx! [:I]
