New Years Resolutions - want to share?
Posted by Brutus on Sunday, January 1, 2006 12:50 PM
1. Fini***he basement this year. It's been a 3 year project off and on, but we've got some money lined up and the walls are all in place, so it should go fast now.

2. Rent more dvds and only buy ones I'll watch more than once.

3. Lose that last 50 pounds I wanted to lose last year! (Eek!)

4. Don't argue Politics, Religion or Money this year!

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Happy new year, Jim.

This list sounds familiar. Because, trains are much nicer than cleaning the garden shed / attic and playing with trains is easy to combine with eating and drinking, but not with exercising....
By the way, what is wrong with having an argument once in a while: you will burn some calories more in anger...

Perhaps, we should notify each other when you finished the basement and I cleant the garden shed....(could take a while)

Happy new year!

For the first year, I'm putting loose weight on my list. I said I would start exercising if I hit a certain mark...I'm 5 lbs over. Plus I figure...If I eat a little better by brown bagging lunch to work, I'll have more money to spend on my new hobby! So:

Eat better/ Loose weight
Exercise a little more
Don't go into bankruptcy from buying new trains and accessories!

Happy New Year!

1) Finish up the empty spots in the scenary.
2) Fix that spot in my track where the trains slow down.
3) Ballast my track.
4) Finish up installing my 3r plastic ties in the staging yard. Ballast the staging yard.
5) Refurbish all my post war steamers and whistle tenders using the Jim Barrett "In the Backshop" DVD's
6) Get some thing done about my K-line E-8s.

Thay's about it.

Gotta fini***he basement so I have somewhere to put some trains!

I lost 80 pounds last year. Then, I gained 10 pounds in the past 2 months!!!

Once I get the basement done I'll post some pics. Maybe I'll post some of the current construction too.
