Thanks for the very helpful link to the Cab 1 demo. page I've been playing with it for an hour. Sweet.

Kindest regards,

Pete, see this recent topic on a similar question:

If none of your O-27 locomotives are command-equipped (most are not), you won't be able to run two locomotives on the same track unless you have block wiring. It is possible to run one command-equipped loco and one conventional loco on one track with a CAB-1 and Command base, but it will take a lot of concentration!

Can TMCC & Cab 1 Be used w/ 0-27 Lionel sets?
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, December 30, 2005 7:55 PM
Hi,

Sorry for the "newbiness" , but I have been bitten badly by the toy train bug-again and I'm wondering if a layout of 0-27 train set engines can be powered by the Lionel TMCC & Cab 1.

I'm in a quandry as to wether to use the Cab 1 to run things or go the block wiring route.

The layout I have plans for will have both 0-27 and 0 gauge trrack and will have the capability of running at least three trains simultaneously.

Any help with this question would be appreciated.

kindest regards,

Pete
