Sorry guys, I thought I mentioned their latest color brochure came in yesterday's mail. That is neat about the Metroliners - I've been getting the Williams brochures for a few years now and never noticed them before - serves me right for assuming they might be new. They also showed the neatest looking Sharks.

Bob,
Thanks. I became a platinum club member with the GG1 deal and did not get a flyer with the transformer in it. It seems the deal brings the price to about what is expected from the other transformers in $1.00 per watt.

If anyone has the flyer with the transformer in it, would you please scan and post it for the rest of us to see?

Jim, neither have I seen anything about their transformers.

Bob, you know anything about these transformers?

I've seen no mention of the transformer in any of the flyers, but I did misplace one with deisels and passenger cars. I'll bet it was in that one.

Doug,
As mentioned above, the website does not list any transformers. How do I find information? Any suggestions? Thanks, dennis

We reviewed the Metroliners back in 2001 - but they date as far back as 1980 I believe. Great pieces that are not actually in stock all that often - I just may order the Pennsy.

well their website doesn't mention anything about the transformer or the 4 pk Metroliner.....

Still wonder why they still have this home page with the Summer 2004 collection...

Doug,
thanks for the information. I will go to the web site. I am seriously concidering the Williams deal for the Hudson/passenger set, so perhaps I can throw a Transformer in to boot.

I've mentioned about the $149.95 150 Williams transformer in the CW80 1033 thread - it looks like a nice deal. I also noticed Williams is selling 4 unit Budd Metroliners for $399 - in Pennsy, Amtrak and Penn Central liveries. 15'' long / 031 curves. They look sharp.
