Hi Doc, I've always been under the impression that they are a pretty good S scale at 3/16" to the foot. Assume that the trailer is a 40 or 48 foot model and see how it measures up.

Keep in mind that the 1:43 cars are a little oversized for O which is generally considered to be 1:48.

Scale of lionel truck

The Doctor Is In!!! I have a BNSF Tractor/Trailer that came with a modern Lionel set I bought at a yard sale a few years ago. When I put it next to a 1/43 scale car, the truck looks small. Does anyone know what scale these trucks are ? Any help will be welcomed !.
