FWIW, I ordered a new Bachmann rail truck for my wife's Christmas from an eBay seller on Monday morning, and it was on my front porch last night when I got home.

True. I ordered a Williams 671 from MA & Pa Junction last week. I called back Monday and they hadn't sent it out yet, so that doesn't look like it will get here on time either.

Hello Jim! Maybe you can subsitute another engine for your kids. So that they are not too disapointed and when Percy finally comes in you can wrap him up for next Christmas? Take Care.

Looks like the Lionel Percy I ordered for my kids isn't going to make it in time for Christmas. I didn't want to order it at all, but they all were so excited about it. Lionel really dropped the ball on this one. Imagine how many they could have sold if they were in stores in time for the holiday shoppers.
