free signage
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, December 17, 2005 1:31 PM
Just wanted to share this with anyone who might be interested...I am always looking for inexpensive (cheap) ways to do things. At work the other day I picked up a safety catalog from a company named Carlton, inside were numerous pictures of signs the company sells, an idea popped into the old head. Many of the pictures were about "O" scale size, I cut some out and glued them to the cardboard of a gift box, after they dried, I used an exacto knife to cut them out. I then glue the cut out sign to a piece of 1/16 X 1/16 wood. These look great, and they're cheap too. This catalog has all kinds of signs that will work great with any railroad, the website is www.carltonusa.com, just thought I would pass this on.....tom.

Great idea Tom. Just remember to cut and paste the URL into the location bar because the automatic link is picking up the comma at the end.

Thanks, Tom! Here's another site you might like (found it thanks to a Forum member, but I can't remember who!):
