There are several places that advertise in CTT who would make an offer on your trains if you have to sell them - though they'll pay 'wholesale' prices to be able to resell them at a profit. If you are able, you are more likely to make a tad more by selling them individually yourself on some of the hobby's forums that allow such postings. I would echo those who recommend hanging onto them if you can - maybe a family member can hold them for you. I did that for my dad when they were downsizing...

John,
They are some nice stuff. I would hessitate to sell off my collection. Perhaps you could find someone who could hold them for you. If you need the money, they could loan it to you and then you "Buy Back" your collection (not a pawn shop, but a friend). I did this for a friend who was going through a divorce and when he was back to where he could, he gave me the money back and I returned his toys. Just a thought. Also, if it is not a money issue, then perhaps you can find someone who will store them till your situation allows for you to get them back.
Good Luck,
Dennis

Have you considered Sharpless auction house in Iowa City? I see by your signature that you must be a Hawkeye fan........ sorry about your year so far against Iowa State[:D]

See, you can't ever get away from it[:)]

Hi All,
I am moving to a new area and am forced to sell my Lionel Century Club stuff. Can anyone recommend a place to sell these trains?
John
