Thanks will give it a try. Wasn't sure whether or not I needed to disassemble the engine to oil the motor. I did the axle bearings.

Sounds like your motor needs oil. Turn the loco upside down and put a drop of oil on both ends of the motor shaft. While you are at it oil the axle bearing too. That should quiet it down.

Question about 2025

2025 engine starts a squeal noise after comming up to speed. Seems like something is slipping. Wheels are lubed. Any thoughts on how to fix it. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of my first O guage christmas layout the end of the week.
