Ditmar was a company that produced trains in Austria. Your passenger cars would date from the 1930's. I have a number of Ditmar trains in my collection, including two locomotives and freight and passenger cars. Ditmar trains do have value. Would you be willing to sell your two passenger cars? I would be very interested in purchasing them.

DITMAR lionel scale passenger cars?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, November 28, 2005 6:57 AM
Greetings:

I inherited a lionel collection from my uncle a few years ago, and still have two "DITMAR" "K. Ausweger" passenger cars sitting around, and I am can't seem to find much about them online.

I'm wondering if they're worth anything?

Thanks for any help any of you can give me.

Regards,

P.S. Here's a photo of one of these Ditmar passenger cars.
