1946 American Flyer Set
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, March 28, 2001 9:14 PM
My dad's got a 1946 American Flyer complete with track, tranformer, houses, telephone poles & red New Haven passenger cars. All of these items are in excellent condition, the engine itself was last run in 1948 (according to my dad's friend's wife whom he got the set off of) right now my pops having the engine overhauled with new motor & bellow.

I collect HO scale steam trains, currently I have a Civil War train set and a U.P. Big Boy #4008 black loco (I made an agreement with my pop, I gave him the Civil War set cause the Big Boy cost $210, I had $155 on me at the time). Those Big Boys are hard to find anywhere here in Maryland, but there is one place that carries old trains here in MD.
