jamsit,

Welcome to the CTT Forum! [#welcome]

Try these guys. They are experts in postwar parts.

The drawings and parts lists for your #68 are here:

Almost forgot - regular styrene model cement will help you with the crack. If you need to fill any dents for repainting, I recommend Squadron Green putty (from your local hobby shop). Repainting is not an area I can help much with as far as color match. Some others here should be able to offer some good advice.

Good luck with restoring that car!

Regards,
Roy

If you have the bumpers you can send them to Chrome-Tech to be replated.

I have an old Lionel #68 Exec Insp Car in need of cosmetic restoration.... electromechanical parts work fine, but it needs front/rear bumpers, hdlights & repair for two small dents/ 1/4" crack on top... cleaning/repainting couldn't hurt either. Any thoughts?... Tx
