bad horn
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 2:30 PM
I'll give the adjustment a try. The horn is so quiet you can barely here it while the train is sitting still, much less moving. In my opinion, the actual sound of the horn isn't as offensive as my old Lionel Dash 8 40C. That thing has the harshest sounding, most unrealistic buzzer of a horn I've ever heard. How difficult would it be to rig up some type of protosound system in these engines?
