Lionel D-164 Display Layout Plans.
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 2:54 PM
Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has any info. (ie: track plans, accessories, etc.) for the 1956 D-164 display layout. I have a 1956 catalog and cannot find any info.

Thanks again in advance,
Michael

Order a copy of Roger Carp's "Classic Lionel Display Layouts You Can Build" from Kalmbach. Everything you need is on pages 58 and 59.

Hello Michael,
Welcome to the forum.

I found this web site. http://www.homestead.com/ogauge/displaylayout.html
Hope it helps.

I'd like to get the publication Poppyl mentioned myself. I can't help thinking it isn't available currently, but I think I'll look around. I keep hearing it very good.

The Roger Carp Display Layout book is on eBay a reasonable amount of time. Here is a link for it through Amazon:

Very best, Mike

Thanks for all the information guys. I went to the Allentown Show last week, and I wasn't able to find the book, but I am ordering one from Amazon.

Thanks again.

Search eBay for "Roger Carp"

The Classic Display Layout books is for sale for $3.95 at buy-it-now, plus $5 shipping. The ad says 98 are available.

The seller is amazoweb (not sure if it is linked to Amazon.com, but at Amazon.com two are available for $25 each). I'd go for the $4 buy!
