Servicing Standard Gauge Locos
Posted by elvisp on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 7:09 AM
I have a 380 and a 390E(Bld-A-Loco) that I need to service before X-mas. I have only done post-war motors in the past. What items will I need to replace (ie. brushes etc.) and clean? The 380 runs good and the 390E is sluggish. Can anyone direct me to any diagrams or references to make it go smooth? I was going to send them to the local repair guy, but thought it might be easier to do it myself. Any thoughts?
