If you sell it on EBay be sure you put "Rare - One of a Kind"!! That should stir up interest.

I wouldn't think it would be worth very much but I second the idea of putting it on ebay and seeing what it brings or checking there for others like it to get an idea. There are no price guides for Tyco that I am aware of.

All Lionel all the time.

Hello cade, and welcome to the forum,

Your best bet for determining a value for your Tyco engine is probably Ebay. The loco you have I believe came from the "Cattanooga Choo Choo" set from the early 1970's. It has the motor in the tender.

Sadly, late Tyco HO doesn't have the same collectability as Lionel and AC Gilbert O, S, and HO. . I would venture to say it may be worth it's original price, maybe little more. I would like to be wrong. Especially since it's new in it orginal box. Best of luck to you.
