I walked into the boss' office and counted 24 on his wall (the only place we have all of the buttons, ourselves). The first was a drawing of a Santa Fe F3, I believe given out in Spring 1994 while the most recent was a photo of a Williams New Haven F7.

Oh, in spite of our last-minute shift to Brown Hall, the readers found us and the the 1,000 buttons we brought were gone in 16-20 minutes.

Boy, that is the $64 question.

From a CTT point of view, great. We were as busy - or busier than ever when we were in Orange or even Purple.

The mood of the hobbyists was pretty darn good. The folks I talked to generally weren't worried about lawsuits, bankruptcies, or product gluts - they were into buying trains and the socialization. For example one guy told me that while he'd bought several new engines, finding a part to his childhood Girard station was his best purchase of the meet.

Some dealers were glum, others were very, very pleased with sales. As for manufacturer announcements, I now tend to get excited when I see the product - but everyone from Atlas O and ETS to SMR and their terrific, delicate-looking General put on a good show.

I didn't have much time away from the booth, but I ended up buying about $200 in prototype books and a $13 die-cast Railway Express truck.

I enjoyed meeting forumites and I'm glad that Laz was able to get his DCS updated!

Thanks BOB, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have gotten it fixed.
Thanks again and a pleasure meeting you,

Maybe see you in April?
