My Polar Express Baggage and Dining cars finally arrived! Now the PE looks a bit better running on the shelf system - 5 cars is much more "like it!"

A make believe, good time flick .. so roll with it guys! [swg] Toy trains from animation - you gotta love it! [tup]

Looks great! Love the colors of the Polar Express, especially with the interior illumination.

pbjwilson Thanx! These Lionel sets and extra cars really fit quite well into the theme of the movie. Not at all sorry that it graces my trainroom "upper level." [swg]

laz57 "Fun" is the operative word ...... I like to turn out the trainrom lights and run 'em in the dark with only the blue lighting from the "rope lights" casting a glow upward against the "night sky" background. The illuminated PE looks really "cool" in that setting. Now that's fun! [tup][swg]

Hello,

I am not a toy train enthusiast, but I saw a friend of mine had posted here and took a look.

That movie may become one of those seasonal "cult flicks," as it was a very well done production. Must admit, those kinds of movies normally are not for me, but I caught it on a trans Atlantic flight and it is a very entertaining work.

Nicely done!
