Tough Decision - Lionel FEC Champion, PWC Super Chief or KCS passenger sets? SAME PRICE

Ok now have the opportunity to purchase a halo set for my small carpet layout/collection. If all were same price which is a better pic? I partical to the FEC set but the fact it needs a minimum of O-54 which is a but large for my house. Both F3 sets are nice! they fit my space better and they classics. I really favor the KCS but I also love the fact I can find all the passenger car add ons and B-unit unlike the KCS. Honestly its between the KCS and the FEC. What would you do in my shoes - this will be my largest train purchase thus far!

A no brainer for this guy, "Super Chief!" I understand your delema on the curves, but I wouldn't let it stop me from having the train of my chioce. I have the "Southerner" and have run it successfully on 0-42, but with a lot of overhang.
You may be disappionted in the long run with something else if the FEC is what you really want. Looks as if you have a second choice anyway. The KCS paint scheme is beautiful and in my opinion the F3's look better hauling 16" passenger cars than the E-6 do. What ever you decide enjoy! They're all nice sets.

I have the KCS and look and run GREAT.
The only thing that I can't get is the B unit for the F3s.
Very hard to find and if on EBAY its expensive.
Have fun.

How big would a fastrack O60 loop for the floor be???(I have a normal sized house) Is this setup going to be too big an overkill? Those 18' pass cars seem sooooo big!!

The O-60 measurement would equal somewhere between 64 and 66 inches outside to outside of track.
