Yes, I belive so,

I am now, however confident about the new #38 after sening an e-mail
asking about it to Lionel, but the reply was...

"Our technology has improved greatly since 1946"

So, I might still buy the 12916 #138, but there is a good chance
the new #38 will find a place on my christmas layout this year.

But, more replies would be good.

Hello,

I've been serching for a water tower, because I decided not to buy the new #38 Water Tower just in case it leaks and I have to pay for it to be repaired.

I have seen the modern #138 in CTT and in two books. One is the "Big Book of Lionel" and another but I can't find it, and I don't remember the title. It's something like "Getting Started in Lionel Trains" or something like that.

Does anybody know where I can find one?
