Jim, How far is Homer City from Jamestown, NY? I might be able to pay you a visit during the Thanksgiving Holidays.

Good Morning,
I'm not sure. Maybe (4) hours, Homer City is located on U.S. 119 about 6 miles south of Indiana. Pittsburgh is a hour drive to my west. Altoona is a hour drive to my east. Johnstown is 24 miles southeast of me. It would be great to have you stop. Take care and have a great Saturday.

JUST IN TIME FOR MIKE'S AND RICH'S VISIT

Indiana County, PA (Sept. 21) – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is pleased to announce that a ribbon cutting ceremony to open the newly widened Route 119 South in Indiana County, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2005.

What: Route 119 South widening project ribbon cutting ceremony
When: 2 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2005
Where: The event will be held in the Church of the Nazarene field along the northbound lanes of Route 119, slightly south of the Route 56 intersection in Homer City. To access the location from the northbound lanes, turn right off Route 119 into the church parking lot. To access the site from southbound Route 119, turn left at the Route 56 intersection. The church entrance is a quick right off Fire Academy Road. Parking is available in the church lot.
Who: Media representatives and interested residents are invited to attend

Following the ceremony, Route 119 will be fully opened to four lanes, two in each direction. The $49 million widening project is the second phase of PennDOT's investment to improve the southern Route 119 corridor from Homer City to U.S. Route 22 in Indiana County. The first phase of PennDOT's effort, the $28 million Route 22/119 interchange replacement project, was completed in 2003.

THANK YOU PENN DOT,
JIMMY

The best of luck with your MTH day, Jim. Gonna take Mike out to show him Horseshoe curve?

I ran the B&M Beep I bought from you just last night. It was pulling a consist of Thomas the Tank Engine rolling stock. The kids love it!

JAABAT,
Children and electric trains. Doesn't get any better. Run the trains for the children as often as you can. They will never forget it.
Have a great Friday and weekend.
Take care,

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I realize most of the people that read this forum do not live close to me. Therefore, it would of been a long ride for most of you. My wife and I have been selling trains for (25) years. I would have to say this past Friday evening will long be remembered. It was really special. Mike Wolf and Rich Foster did a fantastic job. Answering questions, displaying new products and demonstrating DCS. I had a great time. It was just a great night. One that I will never forget. You folks take care. If you ever come to Western Penna. please stop in and say hello. I hope everyone of you have a great week.
Take care,
Jimmy

Jim,

Sorry I didn't make it up your way when Mike and Rich were there; your shop is only about 45 minutes away from me. It's been a few years since I was up in your neck of the woods.

A quick question: Do you carry any of MTH's Tinplate offerings? The tinplate bug bit a couple of years ago, and I am now hooked BIG TIME. I checked out your website, but I didn't see any tinplate stuff on there.

Regards,
Clint

P.S. Good to see you finally posting over here! [:D]

Good Evening Clint,
I'm sorry, I do not stock any MTH tinplate trains. However, I would be more than glad to order them for you. When you have a moment, please give me a call at 724-479-2026. Take care and have a great Wednesday.
Jimmy
