I like the open cowcatcher. On my old Lionel 2026 the cowcatcher is solid, this one is a genuine see-through.

Which raises an interesting question- are some cow catchers adaptable to other models?

Will the 2055 cow catcher fit on the 2026, 2056, etc. etc?

Depending on what Rita dose, I'm going to build a 10x5 double track layout.
I was looking at what I might have to take if I need to evacuate, and I have to set up a small loop around the couch and play with my train, of couse I will be taking it with me if i need to leave......I can always buy new clothes [:D]

Beautifull machine!! It deserves a nice layout without carpethairs getting between the gears. I like the open cowcatcher. On my old Lionel 2026 the cowcatcher is solid, this one is a genuine see-through.
