the Canadian Rockies, IMO has the most spectacular railroading in N. America bar non, and CTT has chosen it for a trackplan that, IMO is pretty spectacular and has shades of John Armstrong's hidden trackage in it.

It's of course, in the latest CTT (oct 05 issue), and unlike probably most, it's what immediately drew my attention. I only received my CTT about 2 hours ago in the mail and am probably the last person on the planet to get the latest CTT, but hey.

About the only change I'd make to the layout if that is what I were modeling is to elminate the 2 tunnels on the far western side where the track pops out just briefly. Already a lot of rabbit holes in the layout and I don't think this necessary. However, if the sprial tunnels actually contains these sort of peek a-boos, then include them in it by all means! But I don't think so.

The track radius is ample for some nice curve-rounding operatings without the pilot looking like it is about to separate from the train.

Great job on the track plan, Don Woodwell.

The rest of the mag looks good as usual.

Restoring train set boxes? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I throw mine away [:D]

Keep up the fine work,CTT.

(been working all day on hurricane stuff for www.army.mil. Officially, I won't tell you what I think of the federal disaster response. However, the individuals on the ground like the Soldiers are doing a magnificent job as usual).
