you dont have to go out on me like that, Im sorry but im only a kid 11 yrs old. i only said that becouse you cant contact them with this forum because most likely their internat server is down, once again i really didnt mean for any harsh feelings[*^_^*]

Monto3, I do believe your comment was inappropriate and totally uncalled for. Hopefully this can be atributed to youthful exhuberance. The question was a valid one. Some of the members here stay in contact beyond just the forum. Fortunately as far as is known we only had two forumites who were marginally effected by Katrina, one in Fl and one in Al. The only "stupid question" is the one that is not asked. [2c]

I'm not sure what we can do to help that has anything to do with the forum. Donating money to the Red Cross is probably the most useful thing to do.

Be careful, though. My wife tried to donate over the internet. She discovered that they had charged our credit card with six times what she intended to give. She reported it to the bank, who said they would block the extra charges. However, when she next looked at the account, they had charged ten times the original amount. Maybe cash is a better way to go.
