Thanks guys. These really are amazing. By far the best subway set to date. As far as the lights, not sure yet as only the 2 car add-ons have arrived so far. Will have to wait a couple weeks to see how they handled that situation. The interiors really are cool. [8D]

NYSubway18 the lyrics "Take the A Train" Duke Ellington,Charles Mingus

You must take the A train
To go to Sugar Hill way up in Harlem

If you miss the A train
You'll find you missed the quickest way to Harlem

Hurry,get on,now it's coming
Listen to those rails a-humming

All aboard, get on the A train
Soon you will be on Sugar Hill in Harlem

Great pics, I love how you got inside the cars.

I am a person with a very active inner child. This is why my wife loves me so. Willoughby, Ohio - the home of the CP & E RR. OTTS Founder www.spankybird.shutterfly.com

Wow. Pretty sweet! I like the close coupling of the cars.

MTH did a beautiful job with this one. [^] Passengers too! The detail is very nice indeed! I'm happy to see they've shorten the space between the cars. Have they added reversing head/tail lights to one of the non-powered units? Having "only" the power unit equipped with reversing head/tail lights is one of my pet peeves. Now if MTH would only automate the door durring a station stop and make an operating escalator as an accessory! [:D] Thank you for posting the pictures. They are terrific!

These are some real beauties! [:D]

R-1 overlooks Metro North train passing on the Hudson line below...

Not quite the stretch out to Far Rockaway, but the Hudson will have to do...

Take the A Train!

I think it would be safe to walk between these cars. [:D]

Check out that "City of New York" Lettering! [:)]

WOW! Now that's detail. [wow]

IRT R-36 and IND R-1

R-32 and R-1

They even nailed the floor color! [:D]

Check out those rattan seats. [:)]
