I haven't seen any pop-ups ANYWHERE on the site. I'm using Mozilla 1.7.11 with a built-in pop-up blocker - but it alerts you when a pop-up gets squashed. I never even get any alerts!

I get them on MR, but not here or on Trains Mag. Strange.

I'm with John, I've never seen a pop-up ad on CTT, either. Perhaps the Firefox web browser I'm using is suppressing them.

Gee, I got to tell you I never get any pop ups while on the forum here ! I don't think I have any special blockers either. Are you Giz talking about the advertisements on the right hand side ? Thanks, John

Get a popup blocker like I have and you never see them. [:D] Free ones out there. Ad-Aware has a free one and then I pay extra and get cookie and add cruncher too.

Can't stand'em myself, but people do order through them, so they'll be staying. I'll pass the comments along to marketing about trying to alternate the subject matter.

I make a point of not reading any popups. I delete them at the bottom of the screen so I don't have to look at them.

CTT. Pop Ups
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, August 14, 2005 3:35 PM
Hello All: I don't mind reading the CTT. pop ups, they are good enough to provide this site & keep it Liberal & lite. But we have been looking at the same pop up for 6 month's, a little change would be nice or a better rotation of your other product's. Anyhow that's my minor complaint, Thank's again for providing the site. Regards Steve
