These are repair rather than operating instructions; but they might be of some help:

There are some ZW instruction manuals currently offered on the best-known auction site. Search for "lionel zw instruction" without the quotation marks. The two offerings differ as to content, "extras" and cost.

I recently purchased a set from the seller with "gto" in his name and found the delivery to be swift and the product satisfactory, although the pages are stapled together rather than being a roadmap-like foldout as were the originals. The info and pics are there, he has several to sell, and the price seems right, although one needs to factor in the shipping charges carefully. They are serviceable office-copier quality documents apparently produced from only fair originals, and are definitely not "National Geographic-level" glossies. They are offered as a simple purchase ("Buy it now") item -- no bidding required.

The other seller claims his offer is better, albeit more costly, and gives his reasons. It is a "bid-on" item.

I have no connection with either of these sellers. Hope this helps.

Print option locked at that site. I saved them to computer and then copied to disc. Would love to have a hard copy.

Tom, I have a Lionel ZW 275 watt transformer, but do not have a manual.
You may want to try ..http://www.olsenstoy.com
They have a library, which has a lot of manuals and information.
