I too use Fastrack and like it just fine. I think it looks good and is easy to assemble and take apart. I also am using Fastrack remote switches and I think they work real good. The track is some what noisy but, have you ever heard of a quiet train? I think the only problem with it is that it is somewhat pricey. But so are

FasTrack is probably the best O scale roadbed track you can buy, though I've never bought any, but I have seen and handled it in hobby stores. I connected the pieces together and took them back apart and was pleased. I just wi***here was an easier way to adapt to O27 track.

A little while back, I had to take down my 4 by 8 layout. I had heard that Fastrack stays together and a complete loop can just be hung up when not in use. So I bought a loop of fastrack, and it fit on the big living room table just perfect. I had fun running the small Berkshire and listening to Railsounds. When done for the night, I took the wires off the transformer and hung the loop up in the garage. This works great! The track worked well, and noise from the track was not noticed by me. I love this stuff!
