New Toys
Posted by spankybird on Saturday, August 6, 2005 8:53 PM
My Mother-in-law gave me some of my Father-in-laws toys

This is a clock works tank, made by Gescha, a German Toy maker. And yes it still runs

This is made by Brumm and it is 1/43 scale

And I pick these up for our Circus Layout, made by ‘World’s Fair Vignettes’ only $10.99

The fortune teller crystal ball blink on and off.

Great stuff! Thanks for sharing this with us! That tank is a great example of the golden age of tinplate toys! It would make a good flatcar load.

Here's an example of how good tanks can look as flat car loads:

Sask - you are right, because of it's size, it would be great on a standard guage tin plate. [;)]

This one another one of his toys.

This is also a clock works and is new in the box. The Grandkids didn’t play with it.

This Mercedes needs a little more care. This is the second time I am putting the headlights back on it, along with the Mercedes logo on the hood.
