Iam so happy they corrected the decals - I also hope they moved the red&black striping coser to the cab like the original. The preproduction pics were bothering me so I can't wait to get this set!

Howdy!

I'm new to this forum, buy am a PWC fan. I really cannot wait for mine! This set sold out very fast (I am told). Get it if you can!

Lionel corrected the yellow stripe to be like the PW original (not over the headilght lens).

I also cannot wait for the Hudson set (also sold out)... As you can see, my piggy bank is busted!

Hello FECLionel! That is up to you to decide. If you have the money for it and really like the Sante Fe then go ahead and buy one. It does look like a very nice and desirable train though.

I got a call from my dealer on Saturday - he said that this set is scheduled to be here in the next few weeks. I'm starting to think that I should get one! Since it was only offered in one catalog its possible it will be the next Canadian Pacific or Congressional PWC set to own. The Rio Grande Freight set is getting really hard to come by! Any thoughts???
