You can sand the paint or coating off it and solder it, or you can can spread the center rail a little, sand inside, and "jam" a spade connector into it.

Providing Power to K-Line Shadow Rail Tracks
Posted by pokorbm on Saturday, July 30, 2005 6:44 PM
From reading posts on the forum, I understand that while lock-ons are OK for small simple setups, it is better to provide power directly to the rails via soldered connections.

Any suggestions as to how to provide power to the center rail of shadow rail tracks?
