How many people have a subscription to Classic Toy Trains? I know I do and most of the people who post here do.

Once a year, an issue contains circulation information. I'll try to look up the most recent issue. I subscribe!

I buy it off the rack at my local (struggling) hobby shop.

I do. I'd venture a guess that probably the majority of forum members do.

I don't, but I would really want too.

But IMO I just think 40 dollars could be useful to buy more trains![:D]

I have one, and look forward to getting it. I admit that one of the first things I look through are the ads from the big dealers. Content wise I find it sort of hit or miss, which is to be expected given that O gauge has Hi-Railers and "classicists" -- and everyone in between. I also get MR, which I find a little bit more useful in terms of modeling techniques and tips, but largely ignores O gauge.

Hi Adam T.,

There are roughly 50,000 CTT subscribers and we sell another 10,000 copies of each issue (varies with time of year; more in winter, less in summer) at hobbyshops, book stories, and newsstands.

I do and enjoy immensely. That said, Model Railroader and Trains are my favorites, mainly to keep abrest of 1:1 news and b/c I like to tinker with scenery and scratchbuilding. OGR I get off the newstand if I like it; same w/Garden RR

I have subscribed since around 1998 or 99 and look forward to every issue. I still have most of them and can easily kill half an hour paging through one at random.

I discovered the magazine by accident. I work at an auto parts store, and one day a CTT arrived in our daily freight -- apparently somebody at the warehouse was reading on the job and dropped it in our tote.
