How about something quick and easy? Hot glue.

We use thick, wet Gypsolite and hold it there until it can hold it's own weight. To be sure, it's a messy process but the results are well worth it and it's really not that difficult. Then it's fun to paint them and add Lichen around the edges. We've also broken some of the castings to create even more variety.

Hope this helps.

I've made several rock castings that I need to attach to a vertical piece of rough sawn plywood, what are your suggestions as to the best way to attach these?.....thx.....tom.
