Instead of just quessing, Why not go to the source?

http://www.k-linetrains.com/SuperSt/SuperSt2.cfm

This link has a layout planner as well as full size templates that can be printed out.

The smallest curve will have a diameter of 16 3/4".
The larger curve has a 20" diameter.
Both have double tracks!

There is also a section that mates to you regular track so you could use part of you existing track for a turn around.

They should be out this summer!

I think this new track system will look better for trolley use.

I am a person with a very active inner child. This is why my wife loves me so. Willoughby, Ohio - the home of the CP & E RR. OTTS Founder www.spankybird.shutterfly.com

I don't believe the K-Line product has been released yet.

As Daan noted, it's likely that the system, if it's to be fully functional to allow for continuous running, will likely require a good bit of real estate.

Are those the ones which advertized in the CTT with the sort of "track" in the streets where cars can drive for real? On that system I do have a few comments. In the first place it doesn't look nice. It looks like a railway instead of a street. I do like the h0 gauge Faller system where cars run on the streets by themselves, powered by a battery and guided by an embedded metal wire. The magnet on the steering front axle follows the embedded wire and it looks like real. (look for Faller Carsystem on google)
I also would like the idea of radiocontrolled cars on the layout, as long as they don't drive too fast. You can load and unload them on railwaycars etc.
You could also use slotcars on your layout. Several systems made by carrera or scalextric are available in smaller scales then 1:32 and the road looks more like a road.

Keep in mind that it consumes an awfull lot of space, because you need places to turn the cars to keep them running continuously and you can't fit the curves to fit your space.
I worked with the faller system and it works& looks great, but I needed a disproportional amount of space.
