In the last issue of CTT (page 80) there is an article on a Custom Operating Accessory by Jack Pearce - a helicopter with lights, sound and movement.
Well, I bought one, and a sweet accessory it is.
The pictures and information in the magazine are very accurate. There ia also a video on CTT product review.
The large rotor blades turn. You have a flashing red light on the underbelly and a corresponding one on top. There is also a cabin light, a steady red light on the top of the tail and a blueish white light on the nose.
The workmanship is A+.
The little circuit board produces a very realistic helicopter sound.
The board also has a volume control.
The unit is 1:43 scale.
All in all, a very colourful eyecatcher, realistic and a simple hook up.
I really like an original different accessory such as this.
Nice job Jack.
