Greenberg's PW service manual shows the "siderod" as P/N 1050-8. If you can't find the part at a local dealer, you might try

or

I don't have a rod. But it might help in locating one to note that what Lionel called a "side rod" on this locomotive is actually a "main rod". It didn't in fact have any side rods.

Could use some help. Parents gave me a Lionel 1061 locomotive that is missing a side rod. Anybody know where I can pick up a replacement?
